Alyssa Lawson primarily focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation as well as other cases involving complex technology. She has litigated cases in both federal courts and before the International Trade Commission. Those cases have involved a wide variety of technology areas, including network security, anti-virus software, web-based property management software, interactive and monitored home security systems, Internet telephony, pharmaceuticals, microarray technology, cellular communications, and highly integrated radio-frequency (RF) analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions for broadband communications. Along with representing clients in litigation, Ms. Lawson evaluates patent portfolios and counsels companies regarding their intellectual property strategies.
